Banksy Brighton Wall To Be Flown To USA

A piece of wall bearing one of Banksy’s most iconic works has been flown to America to be sold.

Experts predict the kissing policeman, painted on the wall of the Prince Albert pub in Trafalgar Street, Brighton in 2004, could reach in excess of £1 million.

The image became a tourist attraction in Brighton (which has a large gay community)  and one of the most famous ‘street Banksys’ in the country.

But owner of the Albert, Chris Steward, says it is time for the policemen to leave Brighton and fly to New York where a private dealer has shown an interest in auctioning them off.

Banksy On The Simpsons... Again!

A tag from Banksy popped up on the latest episode of The Simpsons to be shown on Sky 1. It was shown during a scene at the Oscars, which ties in with Banksy himself being nominated:

Banksy recently hit up LA just before the Oscars to promote his nominated film "Exit Through The Gift Shop". Unfortunately he didn't win in the Best Documentary category but at least we got some quality street art out of it :
